This week we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Saxion University of Applied Sciences to our office in Delft for their graduation project, which is based on our design for KC De Velduil. It was a pleasure to explain the vision and ideas behind our design, which could inspire them in developing their graduation project, progressing from provisional to technical design.
KC de Velduil is a biobased child centre in Houten designed by ZOETMULDER. The building, which will be realized in 2025, combines a primary school, childcare and a sports hall, all built using sustainable and bio-based materials. We are excited to collaborate with R.A. van Leeuwen in bringing this project to life.
This graduation project offers the students an excellent opportunity to further develop their skills and gain valuable experience across different design disciplines. They will be challenged to apply their knowledge of sustainability and bio-based materials in their designs.
It was a pleasure to give the students an insight into our design process and share our thoughts with them. Thank you for the engaging and inspiring conversation!
