By invitation of De Vereniging tot Bevordering der Bouwkunst (VBB) Groningen, we, Elise and Anton Zoetmulder, together with Jeroen Schoots of Schoots Architecten, will give a lecture on Tuesday, June 24 about our project IKC Meeroevers in Meerstad.
IKC Meeroevers is a biobased integrated child center where experience, technology, and sustainability come together. The building features a wooden structural frame, insulation made from locally grown flax, a façade of reused bricks, and a distinctive tower serving as a landmark in the neighborhood.
The lecture is part of the VBB program, which aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of building in relation to society. They organize lectures, discussions, and excursions covering the broad field of architecture and spatial planning.
This lecture provides insight into this special project and the working methods of ZOETMULDER and Schoots Architecten.
