Last week, Arcam Architectuurcentrum Amsterdam and BNI opened the exhibition: At Home in forty square meters. The exhibition showcases how interior architects and residents find smart solutions for compact living, from multifunctional furniture to well-thought-out floor plans and shared living concepts.
ZOETMULDER also contributed to this exhibition. For the exhibition we designed a residential floor plan of 22m². A good interior design is based on clever customization that combines functionality and experience.
“In a small space every square meter counts. By combining fixed elements with flexible uses you create a place that feels both practical and personal. By emphasizing the diagonal the sense of space is enhanced.”
The exhibition At home in forty square meters can be seen at Arcam until November 23.
