Elise Zoetmulder Chair of the BNI Board

Elise Zoetmulder has been appointed chair of the board of Beroepsvereniging Nederlandse Interieurarchitecten (BNI). Elise is committed to strengthening the position of the interior architect within the professional field. She has previously contributed as an active board member of BNI, and now enthusiastically takes on the role of chair. The board transition took place during the General Meeting of Members.

The BNI supports, promotes, and represents Dutch interior architects both nationally and internationally. Elise will serve as co-chair alongside Taco Hylkema. Together with the other board members: Evaline Kruyssen, René Kuin, Saskia Beekmans, and Niels Geerts, they form a team dedicated to securing a future-proof position for the interior architect within the built environment. They actively contribute to association activities, the provision of information, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. BNI does this, among other things, through lectures on Dag van de Ontwerpkracht and as part of the Platform Ontwerp NL.

In addition, BNI, together with its Belgian sister organization AiNB, publishes the magazine NOOK four times a year, focusing on interior architecture. The magazine offers in-depth articles, inspiration, and opinion pieces. The latest edition, titled ‘’Structural Ingenuity: The building blocks of interior’’ was presented during the General Meeting of Members. BNI members receive NOOK for free.
